A beautiful 9.7-inch high-resolution display makes iPad perfect for watching any kind of video: from HD movies and TV shows to podcasts and music videos. However, if you want to watch DVD movies or video files on your iPad, you need first rip DVDs and convert videos to iPad compatible video files and then transfer the output videos to iPad with the sync of iTunes.

Part 1. How to Rip DVDs to iPad Using Mac DVD to iPad Converter

Step 1. Launch DVD to iPad Converter for mac and Add DVD Movie

Click the “DVD to iPad Converter for Mac” button to launch DVD to iPad Converter for mac.

Insert the DVD into your DVD drive and click the “Load DVD” button to import the DVD Movie.

Tips: This DVD to iPad Converter for mac can load three DVD sources. You can load your DVD from DVD drive, DVD folder in your PC and also IFO file.

Step 2. Output Settings

Step 4. Transfer Output Video to iPad

Connect your iPad to PC and transfer the output video files to your iPad with the sych of the iTunes library.

Part 2. How to Convert Video to iPad Using iPad Video Converter for mac

Download and install iPad Video Converter for mac, then to launch Mac iPad Video Converter. Import video files stored on your PC by clicking the “Add Files” button. The other steps are the same as those of ripping DVD to iPad video.

Step 2.Select iPad preset from format list

From output format list, choose iPad Video MP4 as output format and the resulting movie will look quite nice on iPad’s big screen.
